HISTORY

Our Founder (now previous owner)

Kieron Olsen discovered a love for the Far north and moved to to Karikari Peninsula in 2000. Kieron crewed on game boats in Paihia for a few years before getting too busy with custom rod building and reel servicing. After running his show from home in Tokerau Beach, he founded the Inland Rd in 2009. After 15 years, Kieron has handed over the baton so new Owners, Charlotte and Dan who have taken over the shop in 2024 and are super excited to watch it thrive with their fresh enthusiasm.
